主要内容：
● The EU LEADER initiative, now included in the Rural Development Programme, as a policy measure for promoting rural (non-agricultural) development, its foundations, its implementation and outcomes (in Sweden) .
● The Community Capitals Approach as a way of identifying and mapping assets within communities/regions (natural, built, human, social etc capitals) and their use in local/rural development .
● Social capital as a specific capital for promoting rural development.

讲座人介绍： He has a PhD, and now he is a senior lecturer in Social and Economic Geography at Umeå University in northern Sweden. His main research interests concerns rural issues, such as policies to promote and deliver rural development. More precisely the EU LEADER programme for rural development have been the case of many of his studies. He also works with local and regional issues more generally, and also teaches in planning and tourism.
